A chilling social media video shows the terrifying moment a man attacked two women with foul language on a crowded train before another commuter helped them escape.

The video shows the irate man verbally attacking two young female commuters on a packed evening train headed for the Sydney CBD.

The man makes a series of incoherent remarks to one of the women while decked out in wrap sunglasses, fingerless gloves, and a cap. The girls leave their seats while the man yells and points his fingers at them.

The man gets more and more agitated as the other commuters clearly freeze in place.

However, a single man in a black baseball cap walks between the man and the girls and demands that they sit next to him.

He takes the seat behind the irate passenger and says, "Let me sit there."

The man in the sunglasses keeps yelling and wildly waving at other passengers.

After that, he repeatedly yells "police," to which another passenger responds, "yeah, you're gonna see them."

The irritated passenger then yelled at the two girls as they left, saying something like: Move the f*** away before I smack your f***ing neck in The man in the baseball cap then, at that point, tells him basically, 'you won't smack anybody'.

After that, the man can be heard telling passengers that everyone is under arrest and telling the girls to "f*** (their) god, f*** Islamic and your corruption, you b****," as if the girls were Muslims.

The anxious passenger says, "I'm gonna...," but the man in the black cap stops him once more.

He responds, "No, no, no, no, no, you're going to respect everyone here."
