MOCACREATE: On January 14, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., MOCA will host a Lunar New Year Museum Makeover with Teaching Artist Yu Rong. Guests will be able to participate in MOCA's custom by creating handmade decorations to commemorate Lunar New Year and brighten the museum. During our annual Lunar New Year Family Festival, join teaching artist Yu Rong in transforming our space with vibrant creations!

Youngsters are free to join writer Katrina Moore for a perusing of her new book Surly New Year followed by a drawing movement with artist Xindi Yan. The movement is the most appropriate for kids ages 4-8. Siblings of all ages are welcome. The reading will be followed by a book signing.
